Why do we need the sea?

The Sea is Dying...

Greenpeace and other environmentalists issue warnings. But why are the vast oceans so crucial? More than 2/3 of the Earth's surface is covered by water. No living being can exist permanently without water. There are many arguments; here are the most important ones compiled by our iQ team:

1. Climate

Water absorbs solar energy and releases it slowly. Climate change now accelerates processes responsible for extreme weather events. Oh ...

2. Carbon Dioxide (CO2)

The sea absorbs CO2. If destroyed, up to 30 percent more would enter the atmosphere. This would result in a greenhouse effect. No living being could survive at these temperatures. Hm ...

3. Temperature

There are countless currents in the oceans, created by winds and lunar force. These currents bring warmth and cold to land, regulating our temperature. Without this function, it would be significantly colder in Europe and hotter in other regions. Giant storms, long periods of rain, and drought would ensue. Brrrrr ...

4. Food Source

Marine animals provide humans with protein-rich food. If we introduce plastic and other toxins into the oceans, they are absorbed by fish and returned in the food we consume. Bon appétit. Yuck ...

5. Habitat

The vast majority of animals and plants live in water. Species extinction has larger dimensions today than ever before in Earth's history. Ugh ...

6. Oxygen

Photosynthesis regulates the oxygen content of our breathing air. In short: without the sea, less oxygen. First for the fish, then animals and humans on land would die.

iQ UV contributes a small part by recycling plastic waste from the oceans. From more than 20 tons of plastic waste annually, we produce UV-protective clothing and reintroduce the waste into the cycle. Please help, buy iQ UV ;-) and, more importantly, don't use plastic bottles, don't produce plastic waste, and live a healthy and conscious life. The time has come.

PS: For Donald and all conspiracy theorists: we are not talking about the need for the sea to disappear to achieve these negative effects. We are talking about each individual fish, each coral, each jellyfish, and every liter of water that is poisoned.
