What are the benefits of UV protective clothing for women?
UV protective clothing offers reliable protection against dangerous UV-A and UV-B rays, thereby reducing the risk of sunburn, skin ageing and skin cancer. The clothing is also comfortable, breathable and sustainably produced. Thanks to TÜV-approved materials with a sun protection factor of 50+, you can move around outdoors without worry, whether you're hiking, swimming or at the beach.
What materials is UV protective clothing made of?
The UV protective clothing is made from recycled materials such as regenerated nylon (Econyl®) and PET bottles. Depending on the product, different material blends are used, including recycled nylon, elastane and Lyocell (Tencel®). The materials are not only sustainable, but also lightweight, breathable and hard-wearing.
How do I care for my UV protective clothing properly?
UV protective clothing is easy to care for. It can be washed at 40 degrees on a gentle cycle and is generally non-iron. Some items, such as shirts made from natural fibres, can even be washed at 60 degrees. It is recommended not to use a tumble dryer and to allow the clothing to air dry in order to maintain its longevity and protective effect.
