PET bottles. This UV garment is made from 64 percent recycled PET bottles. With every UV garment from iQ you reduce the plastic bottle waste mountain by five PET bottles and reduce CO² emissions.
We manufacture our UV protective garments in Europe. This is important to us because the short transport routes reduce CO2 emissions and ensure fair working conditions.

Aus welchen Materialien besteht die UV-Schutzkleidung?
Die UV-Schutzkleidung wird aus recycelten Materialien wie regeneriertem Nylon (Econyl®) und PET-Flaschen hergestellt. Je nach Produkt kommen verschiedene Materialmischungen zum Einsatz, darunter recyceltes Nylon, Elasthan und Lyocell (Tencel®). Die Materialien sind nicht nur nachhaltig, sondern auch leicht, atmungsaktiv und strapazierfähig.
Wie pflege ich meine UV-Schutzkleidung richtig?
Die UV-Schutzkleidung ist einfach zu pflegen. Sie kann bei 40 Grad im Schonwaschgang gewaschen werden und ist in der Regel bügelfrei. Einige Artikel, wie Shirts aus Naturfasern, können sogar bei 60 Grad gewaschen werden. Es wird empfohlen, auf den Einsatz eines Trockners zu verzichten und die Kleidung an der Luft trocknen zu lassen, um ihre Langlebigkeit und Schutzwirkung zu erhalten.
