EN 61482 - Arc protection regulation The protective clothing shields the user from the thermal hazards caused by an electric arc. The insulation of the material protects against flames, radiation and liquid metal splashes from electrodes that may occur during an arc explosion.
EN 1149 - Antistatic regulation This is a protective garment suitable for areas subject to the risk of sudden electrostatic discharges. The fabric surface is tested for its electrostatic discharge behaviour. The garment, tested to EN 1149, as part of an electrostatic dissipative protective workwear system, provides the user with optimum protection by dissipating electrostatic charge. This clothing is part of a fully earthed system (e.g. in combination with conductive footwear) and prevents sparking and thus explosions.
EN 11612 / EN 14116 - Flame protection regulation This protective clothing is designed to protect the user from exposure to heat and flame. The protective clothing is intended to protect the user even from brief accidental contact with heat or sparks. Due to the nature of the fabric, there is no possibility of the garment catching fire and posing a safety risk to the user.
