Children's UV Shirts Made from Recycled Materials
Many of our children's UV shirts use recycled materials. For example, the AQUA models are made from recycled polyamide or recycled nylon. Some models use regenerated nylon such as ECONYL®. This means the shirts combine reliable UV protection with the use of materials that have already been part of the material cycle.
Our children's UV shirts are manufactured in Europe. Short production and transport routes within Europe are therefore also part of our product concept.
UV Protection for Children Without Constant Reapplication
Sunscreen remains an important part of comprehensive sun protection. However, UV protection clothing can be a practical addition for covered areas of skin. While sunscreen needs to be reapplied regularly, particularly after swimming or sweating, the UV protection of the shirt is integrated directly into the material.
This makes a UV shirt particularly practical for long days by the water, on holiday or when playing outdoors. Of course, uncovered areas of skin should continue to be protected with a suitable sunscreen.
